Top 10 Worse Foods

We have recently received more emails than usual from individuals who are trying to become healthier or slim down for the summer months.  The most obvious question is “where do I start?”  Well you don’t have to travel far, it start right in the kitchen.  Here is a list of the Top 10 foods to stay away from completely if you plan on dropping a few pounds for the warm weather months.

10.  Fried Catfish-  Is the most popular fish consumed in the US because of its cheap price.  But no one should eat this fish, its the pig of the sea!  Its deep fried in white flour and those calories from catfish are not going anywhere fast.  A 3 ounce piece of catfish contains 134 milligrams of omega 6 fats which are bad fats.  They stick to your stomach and also affect your blood pressure.

9.  Flavored Yogurt- The flavored yogurts (the ones with fancy, colorful packages that appeal to children) are just loaded with so much sugar it’s unbelievable. A small container might have 26g of sugar!
As an alternative, get some plain yogurt and mix it with all natural granola or some fresh or frozen fruit.

8.  Bacon- 2 strips of bacon drained is 120 calories 10 grams of fat.  Contains Nitrite which is related to Stomach, Pancreatic, and Colon cancer.

7.  Fast Food cheeseburgers- Most cheeseburgers in fast food restaurants have over 500 calories, and we tend to eat them fast, which means those are alot of calories which we don't even notice.  They also contain an insane amount of fat, mostly come from the worse fat, Trans which reduces the good cholesterol in your body

6. Commercially baked goods- Little Debbie, Twinkies, Star Crunches, ding dongs, Grandma's cookies, etc...   really high in trans fat.  Lots of sugar, lots of extra calories, which means not as many holes left in your belt (chubby potential).  If you just really need a sweet, bake it yourself.

5.  Potato chips- the truth is you really can't have just one, these things are addictive.  Potato Chips are not sliced up potatoes, stop telling yourself that silly lie.  Everything bad from trans fat, to sodium can be found in chips.  They also have a minimum of 130 calories in every package.

4. Hot dogs- aka mystery meat.  It’s called mystery meat because even the makers of hot dogs don't know where the meat is coming from on the animal.  Its a combinations of random parts of an animal that goes unused!  You could be actually putting ketchup on a hoof!  And you were wondering why you can't KICK your habit of overeating, no pun intended! (chubby potential)

3.  French fries- these are not moms cut up potatoes any more. Most of the French fries from fast food restaurants are deep fried in paste!  Yep actual glue, no wonder you are stuck at the same weight every week!(no pun intended)  A large fry from McDonald's is over 500 calories!

2. Donuts-aka deep fried fat.  1 donut is 300 calories and has 19 grams of fat!  And anyone who has eaten a donut knows that is does nothing for your appetite, so you are still hungry after 1 donut.  So that means you most likely will grab two and that is an entire meal wasted in 3 short minutes.

1. Soda/Pop- aka liquid candy!  1 pop a day for an entire year is an extra 15.5lbs of calories!  High fructose corn syrup is the main ingredient and that reduces your feeling of being full.  So pop makes you hungrier, that is why they are sold every where!  And guess what, you have more energy when you stop drinking pop.  That extra energy can be used for working out.

The law represents the most significant change to the U.S. patent system since 1952.

John Calvert, Acting Associate Commissioner of the Office of Innovation Development, will be speaking directly to you at this special meeting about how the new patent rules will be rolled out, how they will affect you and what you need to know in order to operate under the new system! His responsibilities include developing ways to increase the USPTO presence in the independent inventor, small business and entrepreneurial communities, increasing opportunities for new patent holders to access assistance beyond the patent system and direct responsibility for pro bono initiatives.

Mr. Calvert graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Technology in May 1971. In February of 1990, John joined the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as an examiner in Group 240 specializing in textile technology. He also served as Sr. Project Manager for the Office of Electronic Patent Application Processing dealing with changes in the patent application format bringing a standard application format into compliance with US practice, the Patent Law Treaty and PCT. As the former Acting Director for the Office of Independent Inventor Programs, John Calvert remains actively involved with the ongoing campaign to educate inventors about invention promotion firms and will continue to expand the outreach initiative to the inventor community.

We all have it, most of have just not developed it!
High unemployment gives us a lot of time to go within and listen to the still small voice.
